Synopsis:
A local resident evacuated from the border area talks about shelling, their friends, and the 10 chickens they have left behind. This interview-based video poetry work was created as part of the video poetry campus at the 2022 Zerkalo Festival.
About the director:
Graduated from the biological faculty of MSU (2015) and also took one of Mosfilm’s specialist training courses. In 2016 she enrolled at the Moscow School of New Cinema, where she studied in Fred Kelemen’s laboratory. Her graduation fiction short PeDOPhile (2020) was screened in competition at the Kinotavr festival. She later took a course in documentary theatre at Teatr.doc under the supervision of Alexander Rodionov, where she staged two productions as part of a multimedia project about stalking. In 2021 she enrolled in a master’s degree at Kino Eyes – European Movie Master.
