Synopsis:
This film is a biographical mystery. We tried to restore the biography of a forgotten great Russian philosopher, whose work anticipated Albert Einstein’s theory of relativity.
About the director:
Aleksey Fedorchenko. Director, screenwriter, producer. In 1998 he enrolled in the screenwriting department of the faculty of further education at the Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography, where he studied in Valentin Chernykh, Lyudmila Kozhinova and Yury Rogozin’s workshop. In 2004 he founded the 29 February Film Company. His films have won the Golden Eagle, Nika and White Elephant prizes, as well as dozens awards at the biggest film festivals in Russia and abroad, including Venice, Rome, Mar del Plata, Edinburgh, Abu Dhabi, and the Moscow International Film Festival. He is a member of the Russian Film Academy, the European Film Academy and the Asia Pacific Screen Academy. His film “Big Snakes of Ulli-Kale” was the opening film at Message to Man 2022.
