Srdan Golubović

Director, Scriptwriter and Producer

Srdan Golubović is Serbian director, scriptwriter and producer. His first feature film Absolute Hundred was screened in Toronto, San Sebastian, Rotterdam, and Pusan, and won numerous international and regional film awards. In 2007 Srdan’s second feature film, The Trap, had its World premiere at the Berlinale (Forum). The film participated at more than 50 international film festivals (including Toronto and Karlovy Vary) and won 21 international awards. In 2008, The Trap was shortlisted for Oscar for the Best Foreign Film.

Circles, his third feature film, had its World premiere at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival (World Dramatic Competition) and won Special Jury Prize. The film had its European premiere at the Berlinale (Forum) where it received the Prize of the Ecumenical Jury. The film was screened at more than 80 international film festivals and won 45 international film awards. Srdan Golubović is member of the EFA and is the President of the Board of the Auteur Film Festival, Belgrade. He works as a professor of Film Directing on the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade.
