Roland Walters is an award winning writer and director, represented by Curtis Brown. He won the Bafta Rocliffe New Writing Award. His latest projects include a feature film about 17th Century scientist, Johannes Kepler, and his mother’s witchcraft trial. It is being produced by Andy Paterson and directed by Michael Hoffman. He is also writing several TV Drama Series. These include a thriller set in 1st Century Judea about Saint Paul, for Oscar nominated producer Tanya Seghatchian; and a project set in the 21st Century music industry, produced by Asif Kapadia and Nick Shymansky.

He has directed album promos for London record label PC Music (featured on Thump and Fact magazine), and his music promos have featured on Wonderland and Fader. His latest commercial was a short documentary for Google x The British Museum.

He is currently writing a book adaptation for BFI Vision Producer, Rienkje Attoh as well as a biopic of Dmitri Shostakovich for director, Alexey Uchitel.
