Description
In 2003, the creators of the film spent several days in the working laboratory of the director Aleksei German, who at the time was deeply involved in the making of “Hard to Be a God”, based on the Strugatsky brothers’ novel. The first version of the film grew out of those observations; in 2026, it was substantially added to, recut, and restored. The project could not have been carried through without the support of Viktor Shkurenko.
