Description
Galina, a restorer at the Hermitage, is unwilling to marry a man she does not love and, unsure of being loved in return, hides her feelings for a married man. Telling of a woman at war with herself, reluctant to arrange her private life by the accepted rules, the film asks whether feelings can be spoken under social constraint.
