Description
The stories of three families who have taken in children from orphanages. Little Regina was given up by her mother; she was born with a malformation of the spine and spinal cord. Twelve-year-old Sasha is called a “troubled teenager”; her parents died. Vadim was taken into a children’s home from a disadvantaged family. Over five episodes we watch the children and their “new” parents pass through every stage of adaptation: a honeymoon, a test of strength, a Groundhog Day. And we see a family being born out of love right before our eyes.
