Special screening and a meeting with director Alexei Khanyutin
During the Soviet era, more than 30,000 monuments to Lenin stood across the USSR. They were recommended for specific locations where Ilyich could symbolically “see” his teachings being put into practice. What does Lenin see today? What do these “islands of the future” look like now? How do the descendants of those who built communism view Lenin? Still with Us competed in the International Competition at Message to Man in 2024 and received the Festival President’s Prize. The film will be presented and discussed with the audience by Alexei Khanyutin, director and a member of the National Competition jury.
