Stefan Ivancic

Film director, producer, and programmer. He graduated in film directing from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade. His short films have been selected for numerous international festivals, including Cannes, Rotterdam, FID Marseille, San Sebastián, Visions du Réel, and Torino, among others. Stefan produced The Load (2018) by Ognjen Glavonić, which premiered at Directors’ Fortnight, and co-produced You Have the Night (2018) by Ivan Salatić and Have You Seen This Woman? (2022) by Dušan Zorić and Matija Gluščević, both of which premiered at Venice Critics’ Week. His filmography also includes the co-production The Elegy of Laurel (2021) by Dušan Kasalica, Montenegro’s submission to the Academy Awards. He is a member of the selection committee for the Locarno Film Festival and a programmer for the Belgrade Auteur Film Festival. He teaches at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade and is a member of the European Film Academy.
