About the director:
Antonio La Camera
Director, screenwriter. Born in 1990. Studied film at the University of Rome and attended the film schools Sentieri Selvaggi and Fare Cinema (the latter under Marco Bellocchio). His short films Flesh and Dust, The Old Man’s Dream, and In the Place of Silence have been screened at over 100 festivals worldwide, winning more than 30 awards, including for directing. In 2022, he joined the CreatorsLab workshop, where he created The Lost Memories of Trees under the guidance of Apichatpong Weerasethakul.
