About the director:
Alexey Fedorchenko
Director, screenwriter, producer. Born in 1966, he lives in Ekaterinburg. His films have won the Golden Eagle, Nika and White Elephant prizes, as well as dozens awards at the biggest film festivals in Russia and abroad, including Venice, Rome, São Paulo, Mar del Plata, Warsaw, Stockholm, Moscow, Edinburgh, Abu Dhabi, Belgrade and Tallinn. He is a member of the Russian Film Academy, the European Film Academy and the Asia Pacific Screen Academy.
