Mara, a writer who has long stopped writing, runs into an old friend from university—one who writes obsessively, and with great success. Both linger on the threshold of something that may take shape or may remain a shadow among other fleeting shades passing through life.

About the director:
Kazik Radwanski
Filmmaker and co-founder of the Toronto-based production company MDFF. His Anne at 13,000 Ft (2019) premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival and won the Rogers Best Canadian Film Award from the Toronto Film Critics Association. His other works include Tower (2012), which premiered at the Locarno Film Festival, and How Heavy This Hammer (2015), which had its international premiere at the Berlin International Film Festival. Radwanski is also a full-time professor in the Film and Television Production programme at Humber College.
