Description
1939, somewhere in the American Midwest: to combat former child-prodigy writer Barbara Fowler’s debilitating agoraphobia, she and her pulp-fiction scribe husband, Richard move to the countryside where they become entwined in a love triangle with their deeply religious maid in this trance-like examination of a world destined for extinction.

Director, screenwriter. Born in 1989 in Fukushima. He studied under Nobuhiro Suwa and Kiyoshi Kurosawa at Tokyo University of the Arts Graduate School of Film and New Media. His graduation film. Bundesliga has been screened at PiaFilm Festival 2017 And Filmadrid 2018. His second feature film, There is a Stone, was selected at TOKYO FILMeX and Berlinale. The pic was also included in lists of the best films of 2023, according to several film criticism magazines.
