Special screening and a meeting with director Lyubov Mulmenko
Vanya is a young man with his own peculiarities. He works at a hunting and fishing shop, lives in his grandmother’s old-fashioned flat, and calls every woman “Frau.” Everything changes when he meets Kristina, a dancer at the Perm Opera and Ballet Theatre, and begins courting her in his own unconventional way. In 2023, Frau won the screenplay award for Lyubov Mulmenko and the Best Leading Actress award for Elizaveta Yankovskaya at the Mayak Festival of Contemporary Russian Cinema. The film will be presented and discussed with the audience by Lyubov Mulmenko, director and a member of the National Competition jury.
