Olga Strada

Activist in the field of Russian-Italian humanitarian relations, translator and historian

From 2015 to 2019, she directed the Italian Institute of Culture in Moscow. In addition to a study of Sergei Diaghilev and The World of Art her publications include “Io e il barbiere di Siberia: Nikita Michalkov e il suo film” (1999), “La Russia e l’Occidente” (2020), “Nikolaj Trubeckoj: L’Europa e l’umnità” (2021), “Djagilev: Il mondo dell’arte” (2014) and with Claudia Olivieri “Italia-Russia: Un secolo di cinema / Italija-Rossija: Vek kino” issued for the Italian Embassy in Moscow. She collaborated with many film festivals (International Film Festival in Rome, Pesaro Film Festival, Montecatini International Short Film Festival). From 2021 she organises focus on Italian cinema in the frames of Tashkent International Film Festival.
