Nikolay Khomeriki

Director, screenwriter. Born in Moscow in 1975, Khomeriki graduated in 2000 from the Higher Courses of Film and Television (workshop of Vladimir Khotinenko, Pavel Finn, and Vladimir Fenchenko), and in 2005 from La Fémis in France. He has participated in the Cannes Film Festival three times, with his short film The Two of Us in the Cinéfondation section (2005, second prize) and his feature films 977 (2006) and Tale in the Darkness (2009) in Un Certain Regard. Nikolay’s other works include Heart’s Boomerang (2011, Kommersant Weekend Prize at the Moscow International Film Festival), The Icebreaker (2016, four Golden Eagle Award nominations), White Snow (2021, Golden Eagle Award for music), Freeze Dance (2021, Kinotavr Main Prize), and the TV series Pure (2024).
