Michal Leszczylowski

Michal Leszczylowski is an editor, director, and screenwriter. He was born in Poland in the city of Łódź in 1950. He lives and works in Sweden. He lectures in Sweden and the United States. He worked with Andrei Tarkovsky on the film The Sacrifice, and he edited Darya Zhuk’s Crystal Swan, Askold Kurov’s The Trial: The State Of Russia Vs Oleg Sentsov, Lukas Moodysson’s Lilya 4-ever, and more than 50 other films. His 1988 directorial debut film, Directed by Andrei Tarkovsky, won numerous prizes at film festivals.
