Konstantin Shavlovsky

Konstantin Shavlovsky is a film critic and curator. In 2004, he became an editor at Seans magazine, and from 2012–2016, he was the editorial director. Since 2017, he has been the editor of the cinema section of the weekly Kommersant-Weekend. He was awarded the Mikhail Levitin Prize for the Best Young Critic by the Russian Guild of Film Critics (2005). He is a participant in the cultural education project Poryadokslov (St. Petersburg and Moscow). He is the PR director for the On the Edge Film Festival (Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk and Kaliningrad). In 2014, he became the deputy director for the Cinema section of the St. Petersburg International Cultural Forum. Since 2018, he has been the general producer of the Zerkalo Alexander Tarkovsky Film Festival (Ivanovo Oblast). Since 2020, he has been the program director of the World of Knowledge International Science Film Festival (St. Petersburg).
