Russian premiere
Sergei, an artist from Siberia in a creative and personal crisis, hides in his studio from his debts, his family, and himself. Then his daughter turns up with a camera — the one person who wants to reach out to him, and the one person he is willing to let in. As they draw unexpectedly close, they start looking for a way forward.

Anna Sokolkova
Actress, performer, and documentary filmmaker. Born in Omsk, she lives and works in Moscow. In 2022 she graduated from the Omsk Theatre College in acting; in 2026 she earned her second degree in acting at GITIS, in KLIM’s workshop, and completed the ‘DocFilmCommunity’ workshop in documentary directing under Irina Buzina. If I’m Not a Realist is Anna Sokolkova’s first film as director.
