About the director: Olga Schechter studied politics and environmental science at New York University. After working as a journalist for Newsweek, she studied documentary film at the New York Film Academy. During her studies, she became interested in Russia-U.S. relations and the Ukrainian crisis, as a result of which she spent three years in Eastern Ukraine shooting this film.
