Description
Givi is a film director living in Moscow, while Levan, his old friend, lives alone in Tbilisi, struggling to get by. The two hadn’t seen each other for 30 years until they reconnected through social media. Though their lives have taken very different paths—Givi is experiencing significant changes, while Levan has seen little change in his life—they are still connected by shared childhood memories.

Bakur Bakuradze
Screenwriter, director, and producer. Born in 1969 in Tbilisi, he graduated from VGIK’s directing department (workshop of Marlen Khutsiev). His feature debut Shultes (2008) premiered at the Cannes Directors’ Fortnight and won an award at Kinotavr. His second film The Hunter (2011) was featured in the Un Certain Regard section at Cannes, and it won the Grand Prix at festivals in Split and Minsk, as well as the Critics’ Prize at Kinotavr. Bakuradze’s third feature Brother Deyan (2015) premiered in Locarno. He is one of the founders of the Moscow School of New Cinema. As a producer, he won the Golden Eagle award for Best Film with Salyut-7 (2017). Winner of the Shanghai IFF’s Golden Goblet Award for Best Director.
