Description
A high school student, Martin, who lives in a port town in the south of Argentina, sets off on a desperate journey to find his father after having broken away from school and running away from his mother and unloved stepfather. The protagonist’s wanderings are surrealistically intertwined with a country that is drowning in the past, after having survived a dictatorship. Fernando Solanas’s “The Journey” manifests the freedom to choose even a winding and seemingly boundless road, as well as the freedom to find your way in the midst of total disorganization.
