Description
This film is a portrait of the aircraft designer Sergei Ilyushin. The biography of planes is the biography
of the country, and this forms the basis for the film. It features fascinating stories and a great deal of documentary footage from the early 20th century to the 1980s: Soviet, German, American. It also features the reminiscences of the pilot Konstantin Kokkinaki (about a non-stop flight to America) and Kutepov, Ilyushin’s deputy.
