Description
Godard is preparing to film À bout de souffle (Breathless). His ambition is to create a movie that would become—and, in fact, did become—emblematic of an entire generation.
The French Nouvelle Vague stands as the great cinematic myth of the 20th century, the cradle of cinephilia. Richard Linklater—a classic of American independent cinema and, naturally, a cinephile himself—offers a tender homage to an era when cinema was far larger than life.
