About the director:
Leonardo Favio was a filmmaker, actor, and singer born in 1938 to a single mother. His difficult childhood and adolescence, which included frequent encounters with the police and eight years spent in an orphanage, greatly influenced the themes of his films. Favio became one of the most popular directors of his generation, partly due to his parallel singing career.
