Description
A remote military outpost in Patagonia, 1882, during the so-called “Conquest of the Desert”, a genocidal campaign against the region’s indigenous population. At the invitation of the Argentine army, engineer Gunnar Dinesen arrives from Denmark and his 15-year-old daughter, who falls in love with a young soldier and runs away. The Danish captain ventures into enemy territory to find the young couple. This story of a solitary quest takes us to a place beyond time, where the past fades away and the future loses its meaning.
