Synopsis:
A report on the work of doctors in the 24-hour emergency service of the trauma department of Warsaw hospital. The hospital here is just a sick building, where the communication system is broken, and doctors and nurses are individual people who have to overcome the lack of adequate conditions for their work. They repair and mend not only people, but also that which should help them repair and mend. “When you get up in the morning exhausted, the thought of working in a hospital just kills you.”
