Description
Maya Zack reconstructs the fading memory of her mother’s body, who died prematurely. Zack’s own experience of motherhood inspired “Decryption” which depicts a magical-poetic rite in the chain of intergenerational transmission between daughters and mothers, real and spiritual. Zack seeks to decipher the alchemy of memory and oblivion and to answer our fear of being forgotten and our inevitable death.
