Description
At the end of his life, Cass returns to the abandoned house of his childhood in a small town. There, his memories and traumas come to life. He interacts with new friends and strangers, recalling the mistakes, moments of grief, and joy that have left lasting marks on his existence. As these reflections unfold, Cass begins to see his life in a new light, embarking on a journey to seek and rediscover his path to redemption.
About the director:
Jaydon Martin
Director. He worked as a camera operator for narrative and documentary features before becoming a director. His experience growing up in a low-socioeconomic area of Australia drives him to explore maligned cultures, mundane existence and working class expressions in his projects. Flathead is his directorial debut.
