About the director:
Mariola Brillowska
Filmmaker, producer, artist. Works in visual arts, media, and performance. Born and raised in Poland, she moved to Germany at age 20, where she studied fine arts at the University of Fine Arts in Hamburg. From 2005 to 2013, she taught at the Offenbach University of Art and Design. Mariola created nearly 90 short and full-length animated films, which won numerous awards. She won the prize at the Oberhausen Festival for Wann Hast Du Das Letzte Mal Blumen Betrachtet (2022).
