Synopsis:
Since 2015, modern 3D cinemas have been opening in small towns and villages around Russia. The arrival of cinema deep in the provinces saves locals from loneliness, alcoholism, and isolation. This is a living observation of how cinema changes life and life turns into cinema.
About the director:
Born in Omsk in 1982, Vladimir Golovnev graduated from Omsk State University in 2004 with a degree in history. In 2005 he completed a course in directing at the Internews Independent School of Film and Television in Moscow. A member of the Russian Filmmakers’ Union, he has won awards at film festivals both in Russia and abroad.
