Synopsis:
Artyom loves Yuliya, and Yuliya loves Artyom. They have recently left school, moved to Moscow and begun an independent life. In search of part-time work, Artyom comes up with the idea of creating a different image for Yuliya – Eva Elfy – and making an amateur video for PornHub. Suddenly the video becomes popular, Eva receives more and more job offers, and Artyom becomes the boyfriend and producer of a world celebrity. The couple seem to have found themselves in the “American Dream”, but their personal lives are increasingly clouded by problems and doubts.
About the director:
Eugeny Milykh. Director, screenwriter, cinematographer. Born in 1982 in Voronezh, he graduated from Igor Zolotovitsky and Sergei Zemtsov’s class in the acting faculty of the Moscow Art Theatre School in 2006, then worked at the Moscow Art Theatre and the Russian Academic Youth Theatre. In 2018 he graduated from Alexei Popogrebsky and Denis Klebeyev’s class at the Moscow School of Film. He makes fiction and documentary films, series, and commercials. His debut documentary short “Nothing Personal” won the jury prize in the national competition at the Message to Man International Film Festival and the prize for best documentary film at Svyataya Anna, and was also commended at the Rudnik, Gorky Fest and Pobedili Vmeste festivals. His other films include “Night” (2018, short, fiction) and “Window” (2019, short, fiction).
