Father and daughter have been separated by 3,350 kilometres for seven years. He lives in Syria, she lives in exile in Paris. All they have left is to talk on the internet.

Sara Kontar
Syrian artist, filmmaker, and photographer based in France since 2016. A graduate of ENSAD, she founded Al-Ayoun in 2021. Her photographic work has received multiple awards and been exhibited internationally. Her practice explores themes of exile and identity.
