Description
The cinephile Ilya Lykovkin falls asleep in his seat at the Illusion cinema and wakes up at Gosfilmofond — one of the world’s largest archives of films and series. Taken for an intern, Ilya is drawn into the life of a cultural storehouse whose work of preservation and popularisation is hidden from the audience. Staff restore old stock with care, bring back films thought lost, and do what they can so that cinema goes on living on screens and in the memory of those to come.
