A long panoramic sequence constructed from images captured at the end of Stillwell Avenue in Coney Island (New York City), this film is a tribute to the Greek musician Lena Platonos and the culmination of a series of visual experiments with static and moving images
About the director:

Maria Kourkouta
Born in Greece in 1982. Since 2006, she lives and works mostly in France. She studied History of Balkans in Greece and after aesthetics of cinema at the Paris III – Sorbonne Nouvelle and Paris 7 University, in France. Her work was mostly based on the research of what rythme means in cinema theory and filmmaking. She has also been active member of different artist-run labs in France (such as L’Etna and L’Abominable).
