Russian premiere
In 2019, Ignacio, the film’s director, buys a used handycam from France and finds hours of footage left by its owner. Unable to contact him, Ignacio makes a film with the material. Years later, a clue finally leads him to the man’s real identity.
About the director:
Ignacio Ceroi
Director, screenwriter, and producer. Born in 1986 in Comodoro Rivadavia, Argentina. He trained as a director at Universidad del Cine in Buenos Aires. He has worked as an assistant director and editor. His debut short, Love Changes, was named Best Short at BAFICI. In 2017, he founded the production company Pionera Cine and released his first feature, A Simple Adventure. His next film, What Will Summer Bring (2021), premiered at the Berlinale and later won in the Argentine competition at BAFICI and at the Biarritz IFF.
