Description
A male academic choir of drivers from Pskov. What unites these people is love of their local area, their craft and song. As it watches them, the film gradually becomes a reflection on a person’s bond with the place they live.
About the director:
Sergei Skvortsov
Cinematographer and director. Born in 1949 in Volgograd. He graduated from VGIK’s cinematography faculty in 1979. That same year he became cinematographer and director at the Leningrad Studio of Documentary Film (LSDF).
Sergei Litvyakov
Sound recordist, screenwriter and director at the Leningrad Studio of Documentary Film (LSDF). Born in Leningrad in 1957. He began work at the studio in 1973, first as a sound recordist and, from the late 1980s, as a screenwriter and director. Honoured Artist of Russia.
