A train carries sleeping passengers. The monotonous clatter of wheels marks the journey’s progress. What lies ahead, and how long will this night endure? No one knows. There is only memory. Or a dream. Or delirium.

About the director:

Artyom Senkovsky
Filmmaker. Born in 1998 in Izhevsk. In 2020, he graduated with distinction from the Faculty of Journalism. He then enrolled in the general directing workshop at the St. Petersburg School of New Cinema. In 2023, he directed his debut live-action short film, Garden.

Xenia Gaun
Cinematographer, director. Born in 1999 in Tobolsk. After four years studying journalism in St. Petersburg, she enrolled in the general directing workshop at the St. Petersburg School of New Cinema in 2021. In her first year, she worked as cinematographer on four short films and, after graduating in 2023, shot another film as director of photography.

In 2024, the filmmakers competed in the International Competition of the 34th Message to Man International Film Festival with their short documentary Great People.

Russian premiere

Vietnam veteran Al Moon lives on his tribe reservation in Northern California. Escalating violence and environmental destruction revive his war fears and urge him to embark on a cross-country journey and confront his past and the men of his battalion. On the way, chance encounters reveal a nation grappling with its own wounds and question the possibility of healing.

About the director:

Vivianne Perelmuter
Belgian-Brazilian filmmaker who lives and works between Brussels and Paris. After studying philosophy, she enrolled in the directing department at Fémis. Her work spans documentary, fiction, and essay film, while also extending into installation and photography. In 2023, she was invited as a guest artist at the Centre National des arts contemporains Le Fresnoy.

Isabelle Ingold
A graduate of the Fémis film school, Isabelle Ingold lives and works between Paris and Brussels. As an editor, she has collaborated with directors including Amos Gitai, Vincent Dieutre, Bojena Horackova, Hélène Mariani, Itvan Kebadian, Lea Todorov and Joanna Dunis. She teaches at the Université de Corse and regularly at the Fémis. For many years, she has also been making documentary films, particularly in partnership with Vivianne Perelmuter.
