World premiere
The Russian North, in the basin of the Mezen River. For decades, spent rocket stages launched from the Plesetsk Cosmodrome have fallen here. The film is based on footage from the 2000s, shot by Chechen, the head of a scrap metal harvesting crew. With obsessive persistence, he spends months groping his way through northern forests and swamps in search of rockets.

Igor Elukov
Artist, filmmaker. Born in a village on the Peza River in Arkhangelsk Oblast. Lives in St. Petersburg. Graduated from Vyatka Art School with a degree in painting. He initially focused on documentary photography and films about life in the Far North, later incorporating staged photography using models and techniques of early cinema. Other works include Severe (2017, documentary), Kepler (2025, video art).
