Description
Nadya is 31 years old. When she was younger, she ran away from her native Kazakh village to a large Russian city, where she began a new life with a new name, a new story, and, ultimately, a new destiny. Years later, she decides to return to her homeland, where her father still lives, in order to face her biggest childhood fear and become whole at last.

Aleksandra Kretsan
Director, producer, and TEFI award winner. Born in St. Petersburg, Sasha Kretsan graduated from the journalism faculty at St. Petersburg State University, and later took part in the DocTrain programme under the curation of Marina Razbezhkina and Arne Birkenstock. She has also worked as an executive producer and director on the Kino TV television channel. She is the author of the films A Shroud of Incense (2019) and Through the Winter (2020).
