CYBEREYE, the Laboratory named after Dziga Vertov, will be held as part of the Festival. Starting today, we invite applications from filmmakers and visual artists!
The first section of the Laboratory will feature thematic film screenings and a course of lectures on artificial intelligence from philosophers, artists and engineers. The second section is practical training on the use of generative neural networks to create audiovisual content.
Over four days, participants will engage in practical sessions under the guidance of filmmaker and producer Andrea Gatopoulos of the NOUVELLE BUG art residency in Italy.
As a result of the work at the Laboratory, a collaborative film will be created and screened at the closing of the Festival.
Participation in the Laboratory is free of charge, the number of spots is limited. Participants will be selected on a competitive basis.
Applications for participation in the Laboratory are accepted until 20 September 2024.
