Synopsis:
The last day of a man sentenced to execution.
About the director:
Mo Harawe. A director and scriptwriter. He was born in Mogadishu, Somalia. Since 2009, he has lived in Austria. He has studied visual communication and filmmaking and has made short films which have screened and won awards at international film festivals including Locarno and Uppsala for “Life in the Horn” (2020). He is currently developing his first feature film “The Village Next to Paradise”.

Synopsis:
A middle-aged man living in the countryside is trapped by a failed business project and has lost connection with people around him. A local festival will be an opportunity for him to understand that it may not be too late to reconnect with reality.
About the director:
Chrisanthos Margonis. Scriptwriter and director. He was born in 1986 in Athens. He graduated from the Social Theology School of the University of Athens in 2008 and the Lykourgos Stavrakos Cinema School in 2011. Currently he is developing his first feature film project, “Vortex”.

About the director:
Manoël Dupont. Actor, director. He was born in 1995 in Avignon, graduated from the Institut des Arts de Diffusion in Belgium. Worked in the theater as a director and actor, acting in films and TV series, including playing one of the main roles in the fantasy series “Osmosis” (2019), shot for Netflix. “Oil Oil Oil” is his directorial debut.

Diego Céspedes. A film director and scriptwriter. Born in 1995 in Santiago, Chile, he studied Film & Television at Universidad de Chile. In 2018, he wrote and directed his first short, “The Summer of the Electric Lion”, which won the Cinéfondation First Prize at Cannes Film Festival and the Nest First Prize at San Sebastian Film Festival. He is now preparing his first feature, “The Mysterious Gaze of the Flamingo”.
