Victoria Smirnova-Mayzel

Film critic, associate professor of the Department of Film and Scriptwriting of St. Petersburg Institute of Film and Television (Workshop of Film Studies), editor-in-chief of the international scientific magazine KINEMA. In 1995  graduated from the Philological Department of  A.I. Herzen Russian State Pedagogical University, in 2010 – had PhD in Art History at the Russian Institute of Art History. Published in numerous magazines such as “The Art of Cinema”, “Red”, “Hermitage”, “Theatrical Petersburg”, etc. Program Director of the Higher School of Cinematographic Excellence (2010-2016). Member of FIPRESCI.
