The official closing ceremony of the 34th Message to Man International Film Festival will take place at the film studio Lendoc on October 26, 2024.

Russia’s largest and most prestigious film festival dates back to 1989, and in 2024, it will be held in St. Petersburg for the 34th time, from October 18 to 27.

This year, the International, National, and Experimental In Silico competitions will feature 78 works from 30 countries, selected from over 2,300 submissions from 93 countries.

In addition to competition screenings, the programme boasts a record 13 special sections—more than ever in Festival’s history. Alongside the familiar classic programmes, new sections from fresh curators will debut, including, for the first time in five years, foreign programmers from Italy and South Korea. In total, more than 130 documentary, live-action, and animated films from over 40 countries will be screened across the special sections of Message to Man.
