A group of children who became victims of the Chernobyl nuclear disaster are sent to Cuba for treatment. A professor of Russian literature at the University of Havana is appointed as their translator.
About the directors: Rodrigo Barriuso is a Cuban-Canadian director, screenwriter, and producer. Sebastián Barriuso was born in Cuban and studied film directing at the Higher School of Arts. His second film, La Piscina, was screened at the 2013 Berlinale, and was also awarded a jury prize at the Marrakech International Film Festival. The brothers’ film A Transator was a part of the Sundance Film Festival, and also received awards at other festivals.
