Very few people know about Fedot Sychkov. And yet once upon a time his canvases were exhibited in Paris salons and caused a flurry of delight among painting lovers. Peering into the white-teethed smiles of the subjects of his paintings and diving into the stories, viewers involuntarily squinted from the bright sun and sensed the aroma of herbs and the freshness of crunching snow. And as it seemed to them, only a person swimming in the sea of happiness and prosperity could paint like that.
