WERNER HERZOG WILL HIMSELF PRESENT HIS NEW FILM AT THE PALACE SQUARE

At the grand opening of Message to Man International Film Festival, the guests will be able to see the new impressive work by the classic of German cinema.

This year the film to be screened at the opening of Message to Man Film Festival is a new film by living classic of the German cinema, Oscar nominee, author of more than 70 films – film director Werner Herzog.
The author will present the film himself!

The guests at the Palace Square will be able to see the film “Lo and Behold: Reveries of the Connected World” free of charge on a big screen and fully enjoy the great shots. In this film Herzog is investigating the virtual world from the moment of its inception examining the digital landscape in an extremely creative way, in which he previously depicted most different places in the world. It is a film-reflection on how the virtual world transforms almost all aspects of the real world: from business to education, from space flights to health care, up to the very core of our private relationships.

The guests are welcome to arrive from 6 to 7 pm.
The program starts at 7 pm.
Film screening starts immediately after the concert by Yury Shevchuk and DDT. Formal distributers of “Lo and Behold: Reveries of the Connected World” in Russia are the Polytechnic Museum and Beat Films company.

First screening of the film in Moscow will take place at the International Film Festival of Science and Technology 360°, on October 20.
The film will be released in Russia on October 27.
